Busy Day in the Kitchen

A busy day in the kitchen....homemade cinnamon rolls this morning for breakfast.  The Pioneer Woman's Blackberry Cobbler this afternoon.

Currently, making 20 batches of slime (yes, slime!) for Clayton's class project.  And later for supper, Indian Roast Chicken from Bal Arneson (The Spice Goddess).

What's cooking in your kitchen today?

  1. Toast and scrambled egg was our breakfast. We had oven grilled goats cheese served on a bed of mixed lettuce leaves with crispy fried red onions and my home made plum couli, plus toasted English muffin as our Sunday lunch. For dinner I had made a yellow thai chicken curry on basmati rice. For desert there was my home baked Bavarian Rhubarb Crumble Tray Bake Slices, served with thick cream. Utterly decadent for a Sunday.

  2. Simple dinner tonight. My son pan fried chicken breasts in Tony's seasoning and I made steamed broccoli to go with it. Put a pat of butter and a bit of parmesan cheese to flavor. I like simple meals so much.

  3. Simple dinner for us too. Lentil soup. Yesterday was busier.

Lemon roasted chicken, new potatoes, greens, Caramel apple trifle for dessert.

I make homemade cinnamon rolls about once every couple of weeks. They are delicious.
