Our farmers market is filled with fall goodness right now. Butternut squash and broccoli abounds! When I saw this recipe at Simply Scratch, I knew it would be a great way to incorporate some local fall vegetables into our meal plan. To save time, you may want to roast the butternut squash beforehand. The recipe doesn't include broccoli, but it was a tasty addition! I omitted the toasted walnuts and used smoked turkey sausage instead of chicken sausage. This dish definitely tastes like Fall to me!
