Trash to Treasure - Foyer Dresser

BEFORE

Happy Monday All!  I'm going to be spending my week in "power user" training (oh joy!).  But I did want to share our latest trash to treasure before & after with you.

AFTER

With a little sanding and painting, this dresser has taken its place as the best piece of trash Dave has ever brought home!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. That is beautiful! One would never guess you picked it up off the curb! I noticed in the before pic that one of the drawer pulls was missing. Were you able to find an identical one or did you have to purchase all new?

  2. Mary Ann, the top drawer was a bit damaged so Dave took the drawer pull off so he could sand it. So luckily it did have all its original hardware!

  4. I am curious to know if you spray painted or brush painted this chest? I have two in a cabin that I would love to re-do.

  13. I'm so jealous! I've had the same busted up dresser in my garage all summer and I've been working on it a little bit at a time.

  14. I have a buffet that has a veneer finish. Do I remove it or just sand over it before I prime and paint it?
