Just when it looked like we weren't going to get any this winter, last night we finally got snow!  Nothing brings out the kid in me like snow!  I just get so happy and giddy at the sight of snow falling.  The snow started falling last night and put a light dusting over the trees, lawns and even stuck to the roadways.  I'm thankful I was able to stay home with the kids, as the freezing snow did cause havoc on the bridges and overpasses in our area this morning.  Alas, the sun is out now and almost all our little snow has melted.  But it was a pretty sight last night!

  1. Here in Baltimore I don't think that we have gotten an inch of snow all season. Now I am done hoping for.snow.and ready for spring!! Cant wait.

  2. I just love it too! But it's that "Southern girl attitude" about the fluffy cold stuff that gets me into trouble! Lol, I cant get enough and I always pray for a fresh layer (every week!)Well since I've lived in Finland we've had record snows that they haven't had in years...all my Finnish family and friends now threaten me to pray for spring instead! ^.^

  3. We're only a county or 2 southeast of you (I think) and we didn't get a flake. No ice on the bridges either. I'd love to get snowed in just one day before winter is over. Its not looking like it will happen!
